This year I spent my Christmas break in Sarasota Florida avoiding the New England winter, and it was a bad one. Well I talked my parents into funding my paintball habit for two Saturdays. Through the Internet I found Hi-Tec Paintball Park in Bradenton, Florida. They are open Saturday and Sunday 9-4, Phone (941) 746-5866. If you are in the area, Call them, it is worth it. They don't charge much to play and the paint cost is not marked up like at some parks. The staff is really nice and helpful. And the refs were fair, One even asked me if I wanted him to take my camera and get some action shots of me, I have him to thank for most of the pictures below. Alot of their wooded lots are pretty similar. There were three fields that I really liked: #3, #6, and #7. Field #3 is a wooded field like most of the others, but for some reason I liked it over the others, it was much wider than the others. Field #6 is a long narrow field with a creek running up one side of it. It was playable up to the top of the ridge next to the creek. There were also some wood bunkers and a tower structure. With all this it made for some really interesting games. And finally there is field #7, Speedball, Now this is my type of field. There are some good pictures of the field, and me, below.
These images are from the first week I played, I didn't have a camera the second week.

This is me with my mag (in the white) durring the Speedball game that we played at the end of the game. I was pushing up the side, there was only one player standing between me and thier rear tape line.

This is Devon, he was the player that I mentioned above as being the last thing between me and the rear tape line. As you can guess, I made it to the rear tape line. This shot was taken right after I moved and tagged him. He put up a really good fight, but his attention was divided and that was why I moved. I waited till I heard him shoot at the other people then I moved right up on him, He came around to shoot at the bunker I was at before, this is when I shot him.

Here I am again with my trusty PMI Trracer pump. I was the only pump player there that day, I was playing pump by choice of course. This is field #6 with the creek up the side. This is on the side where the land is, but it was only a few minutes after this shot that I crossed the creek and played from that side.

This is Mike with his new Automag just after getting tagged out.

This is a random action shot of a random player
