Message: Hey there. This is Erick. I played with you this past weekend. I work with Rob Farley.
I was the big guy using the Spyder SE with a stainless barrel. How was the trip back up to the cold part of the country? Hopefully, You didn't hit too much snow. I like your page. It's pretty cool. Lot's of info. Let me know when you get the pics online. I'd like to see them.
Talk to you later.

Message: Well, i've owned a spyder now for a little under a year and you are absolutely right, upgrades can get pricey for Spyders. BUt...you can do anything and everything to this gun. Convert it to low pressure, nitro, new bolts, barrels, sights, expansion chambers, the list goes on and on. The way I see it is picture yourself buying an old car, you want to restore it to mint condition you are going to buy expensive things to make it as nice as possible, thats what you can do with a spyder. Buy a stock spyder and spend a little time, money, and lovin care (heavy on the money side) and you can build yourself up to a respectable gun. Well, thats my little speech on Spyders, i'm sure someday i'll upgrade to a minimag but for now, the spyder is still my favorite.

Message: I would like to know which barrel in your opinion gives the longest range and most accuracy on the mag.

RESPONSE: I have always liked the Smart Parts All American barrels. I don't have one on my mag, but I shoot a 16" All American on my Sniper II. They are really quiet compared to most barrels and provide really good range and accuracy. 16" might be a little long, a 14" or a 12" would still provide what you are looking for. At the shop that I go to, the Smart Parts All American is the one that is suggested for use with a Mag.
