1998 Bud Orr Sniper II

This is an actual scan of the gun

This is the most current pic of the gun, has the new barrel on it.

I just bought this gun (1/22/99). Originally I was going to buy a Phantom Pump, but when I saw this gun it was all over. I have heard about this gun, but only seen two. And the two players that I saw were some of the best players I have played with. It always seemed like some mythical beast the way some people talk about the Bud Orr Sniper II. Usually they aren't easy to locate, but I got lucky and chanced upon this one. Right now it is still pretty much stock. The only change to it is the barrel. I just got a 16" Smart Parts All American, with cammo anodizing. Finally I have a really competitive pump. I have recently found that I like playing with pumps over a semi-automatic.
I haven't changed the appreance of the gun yet it is still stock black, but I am looking at the possibility of dragon's back milling with matched gills on the body and getting it polished and anodized. The color scheme that I am thinking of is a two color fade, dark blue on the front, fade to black towards the rear with thin gold splash through out the gun. Whe I get it Anodized, I will anodize everything including the barrel.

In my humble opinion, the Sniper II is the Ultimate paintball gun. Anybody that knows anything about paintball know just how good an Autococker is accuracy and range wise. A Sniper II can easily be turned into a Semiautomatic with out much of an investment (around $150). Once you have converted it to a Semi, with some more money and the Reflex conversion ($400+) you can turn it into a blazing full auto. I have personally gotten the chance to shoot a reflex cocker, it is amazing. It uses only pnuematics to achieve full auto, no electronics involved. pretty neat, personally I don't think full auto is needed, but it is kinda neat.
